Assuage my fears……
I’ll be transferring from a school in Ohio to DU and I have a few questions. Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten the chance to really meet any DU students since I visited when no students were around. Does everyone here really like DU? It seems to have a reputation for being full of snobby, pretentious jerks, is this summary unwarranted(please note, I don't think this of the school, this is just what others have told me)? I’m going to be living off campus, do you think this will make it harder for me to feel part of the DU community? Is there anything I should know about the school in general that the administration wouldn’t tell me about? Thanks for any comments!

It's a little hard to find the geeks, but you can find a lot on campus. Remember, you're in a city! If you're not entirely happy with the subgroup you're searching out, you can find them elsewhere!
But honestly, DU has its fill of snobs and stuck up kids, but you'll do just fine. I do!

You should be fine even if you are off campus. I would think anyway. Most kids have cars, and most go off campus to socialize and party anyways. Just make sure you get parking passes and be careful where you park cause DU likes to give out parking tickets.

Well, all schools have jerks. If you're intelligent, you can OWN them in class. 'Tis fun.Housing and Residence is a bunch of assholes, though, so be glad you're off campus! Honestly, living with/near people in my LLC made me closer to some people while depising others. If you aren't a freshman and have a real major or a consistent foreign language class, you'll met people.
Also, FinAid is kinda dumb, so make sure you sign everything or they will make you unhappy.
As a native Ohioan, I wish you luck!
